The C7 Stingray Makes its return alongside many drastic improvements for the whole corvette lineup. The frame has been completely re-engineered to provide less weight and 60% More stiffness for a more planted driving experience. The infamous wooden corvette handling has been replaced with a responsive and enhanced 5 driving mode system which tunes steering and throttle response appropriately. GM claims the Corvette has shed 100 lbs by using carbon fiber for the hood and Aluminum construction for the frame. Power from the small block V8 has risen by around 20 hp and a Launch Control System has been added to enable full application of the extra horses. Prices are said to start at around 50k
